In Solomon's Power Broker's, co-authored by Freemason Christopher Knight, the authors describe what they call "Solomon's New World Order", which they say is based on the teachings of King Solomon of Biblical fame:"...King Solomon held a council of all priests in his land and decided that all beliefs and gods were part of a whole single truth. However many names we give to the gods, he declared, there is, in truth, only one divine presence despite many manifiestations. He is She, and She is Him. And the light of Shekinah is the true light of all truth". The NT teaches that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. But Christopher Knight and his co-author, Alan Butler, continue: "Today Freemasonry accepts anyone who believes in a single God -- and that includes Hindus, for example, who name many gods. But the Hindu deities are only Splinters of a great force that runs through the universe and so they have, ultimately, only one God....For the Israelites, even the devil is part of God." (page 18, Solomon's Power Brokers, by Knight and Alan Butler.) The Bible teaches: "God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all", which I take to mean that the devil has no part in God at all, which is to say, in other words, God is perfecly holy if by 'holiness' we mean untainted by evil. This will hopefully give the reader a basic idea of the theology of "Solomon's New World Order", but one line in particular caught my attention, since it's virtually identical to what the Vatican II teaches: "This new supreme deity is the God of modern Judaism, Christianity and Islam". Now, compare that to what we find in Vatican II, where, after telling us that Judaism worships the same God, we are told: "But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Moslems: these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day." (Vatican Council II, Volume 1, The conciliar And Post Conciliar Documents, New Revised Edition, edited by Austin Flannery, O.P., page 367) If I am not mistaken, the two statements about God are virtually identical, in which case, Vatican II seems to be promoting what Knight presents as the theology of "Solomon's New World Order", i.e., the theology of Judeo-Masonry.

"According to Talmudic legends, Solomon understood the mysteries of the Qabbalah. He was also a necromancer, being able to summon demons." So claimed Manly P. Hall, 33rd Degree Freemason, in his book The Secret Teachings of All Ages, p. 566. Other Masonic authors also claim that Solomon was a master of the Qabalah, or what is sometimes called "Jewish black magic", so it's no mystery why Freemasonry, which is based on the Kabbalah (i.e., the Qabalah, or Cabala), points to King Solomon as one of Judeo-Masonry's greatest icons: "The true philosoophy, known and practised by Solomon, is the basis on which Masonry is founded." -- Albert Pike, 33rd Degree Freemason, "Morals & Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Rite of Freemasonry", 1871, L.H. Jenkins Inc., p. 785.

The Bible records that Solomon fell into apostasy and practised witchcraft. In the occult world, this is also accepted as fact; a magical work known as The Key of Solomon remains a highly respected occult text, and it's authorship is attributed to Solomon, according to Colin Wilson, p 226, author of "The Occult: A History". "King Solomon was considered the master of all dealings with the underworld, and many 'original' texts of his conjuration circulated among magicians. The wording was Hebrew, written in Roman characters. Solomon's Seal was considered a most majic efficacious design, recommened by Peter of Abano for the summoning of an air spirit." -- Kurt Seligmann, THE HISTORY OF MAGIC AND THE OCCULT, Harmony Books, 1948, p. 201, as qouoted in secondary source "The Great Seal of the United States", David Carrico, p. 32) MacGregor Mathers, the Freemason who translated The Key of Solomon the King, wrote in the preface to that book: "The fountain-head and storehouse of the Qabalistical Magic, and the origin of much of the Ceremonial Magic of medieval time, the Key[of Solomon] has been ever valued by occult writers as a work of the highest authority; and notably in our own day Eliphaz Levi has taken it for the model on which his celebrated Dogme et Rituel de la Huate Magie was based." (Quoted from "The Knights Templars and the Key of Solomon the King", A. Bothewlle-Gosse, S. Liddel MacGregor Mathers, Tor Books, first Tor Edition, 2006)

Manly Hall also claimed: "According to the ancient Rabbins, Solomon was an initiate of the Mystery Schools and the temple which he built was actually a house of initiation containing a mass of pagan philosophic and phallic emblems." This, presumably, is what the prophet Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 8 through 11, railed against as a perversion of the true worship of God, although Freemasons interpret these Scriptures contrary to what is plainly stated in the Bible. God considered sun worship in the temple to be an abomination, according to Ezekiel.
